For all of you who have been following, my sister’s wedding is approaching very quickly. Next up is her shower. To go along with the theme of a destination wedding, I decided to make the shower invitation a “message in a bottle”. At first, I thought I would make the invitation out of a 7 oz bottle which I found at Michaels. These bottles didn’t come with corks, but the corks could be purchased separately, also at Michaels. But, as I was walking to the register, I happened to find miniature “message in a bottle” bottles, and decided to use those instead. Either would have worked out just fine, but I went with the smaller bottles just for financial reasons, since I would have to mail these invitations out.
The next step was to find boxes for these cute little things. I was able to find the perfect shipping boxes at Staples.
