If you read my last post, then you will know that I am dying for spring and the warm weather to finally arrive. When I think of spring, I of course think of flowers, but I also think of all the fun the warm weather will bring, such as backyard parties! If your family is anything like mine, then spring (and summer) is party season. It seems as if everyone’s birthday lands around this time, in between all the graduations, and other celebrations going on. So, of course, I am starting to plan . I’m not really sure yet of the themes, but one thing I’m definitely bringing back from last year is the picture frame. “Picture frame?”, you ask. Yes, a picture frame! A large, empty picture frame, which my sister and I found at a thrift shop for $7. ( It was really her idea, but it’s been passed around to each party after her!) That was the hottest commodity for our parties last year! It kept the guests entertained, and made for some really nice and fun shots!
We hung it up for my daughter’s graduation party with a white sheet behind the frame- the teenagers sure had fun with it!
Even the guys got into it!
And it was a fabulous idea for my sister’s engagement party! It really made for some great pictures, which my sister printed and mailed to the guests along with the Thank You card.
Oh, and don’t forget the Photo Booth props!
